Dinwiddie earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications from the College of Charleston and is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT) , the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the National Council on Certified Personal Training (NCCPT) and by the American Red Cross in CPR. He participates in continuing education courses year-round.
